![]() ![]() ![]() I'm surprised about the S4X comments, I thought it simply had a lot of hidden information, not efficiency or spreadshetty stuff. That's always a lot of fun and kind of what I'm looking for and, as far as I know, it's what makes the games similar in my mind. You know, where you try to understand player's motivations to gain an edge and then get smashed because it was all a bluff. After thinking about it, what I'm looking for is for good hidden information, as in "Hmm, he's doing this, perhaps he is researching X and Y?". Hey, thanks for all the responses! I know the games aren't very similar but hey, that's what makes the question insteresting. What can you tell me about these games? I don't know much about how they really are, I know what people say of the rules but there's very little information on how they feel or what decisions you really make.Ģ) Does the Ares project have a lot of text?ģ) Space Empires 4X doesn't seem to play FFA or 3 players very well, thoughts? What I'm looking for is something meaty and strategic, lots of thinking but with bullets, more than drama I look for something very interactive, drama will come on it's own. Sure, I can get Yspahan for cheap or Brass, which will be a hard sell, but I was wondering about something more ameritrashy and with more killing in it which lead to my question: Which of Starcraft, the Ares Project and Space Empires4X is best for me? Summer is long and I plan to play boardgames 50 hours a week, if not more.Īnd I don't really have much planned. ![]() ![]() My birthday is getting close and while I will probably spend it all in some kind of open console, I might try to get a new game or something. ![]()
